Product Description
The EtherCom eight plus one fan-out allows the network user to increase the number of available ports from a single node connection. Each unit has one Remote AUI port and eight DTE ports. These units feature dual mode operation switch select SQE test and automatic loop-back. The E8PFO has totally automatic switching for either standalone mode or backbone connection The E8PFO is SQE selectable individually for each port.
Application Information
EtherCom E8PFO fan-out series with eight DTE ports and one remote AUI port, allow you to add small local work groups to the network backbone via a single drop cable, or can be switched to a standalone mode to network small businesses or branch offices. Ideal for small offices with limited power points, the fan-out series are phantom powered. That is to say they require no external power source. These units are a highly cost effective solution to your networking connectivity requirements and with the ability to cascade multiple units, when your requirements grow, simply add another unit.
