EtherCom has introduced a rack-mount version of it's fault tolerant transceiver. Designed to fit into their (ERM21) 21 slot chassis. The model number is ERM1020.

This 10 Mbps unit passes data from an RJ45 port input to two RJ45 output ports, a primary and a secondary. This intelligent unit detects both, loss of link pulse and loss of data. In spite of it's diminutive size, 3.5" x 0.75" it has features that include user selectable primary port/secondary port, user selectable transceiver to transceiver or transceiver to hub. Each RJ45 port has a MDI/MDIX cross over switch allowing installation with standard cables, eliminating the need for cross over cables.

EtherCom has also introduced an RJ45 to BNC converter, model number ERM01, that fits into the same ERM21 chassis.
