EMR04 Ethernet Multi-Mode
4-Port Micro Repeater

Whether you are working with a star or bus topology, a new or an existing network, the EMR04 can be sort of like a Swiss Army Knife for the Network Professional. When used with EtherCom's EFL01 Fiber Transceiver this unit allows you to work with all four types of cable: twisted pair, thin coax, AUI cable and fiber. The EMR04 is ideal for extending network wiring to double the normal distance, because unlike a Media Converter, this is a repeater.
