This layer 2 switch has been designed
for great flexibility at a very reasonable price. Copper 10/100 & Fiber
FX can be mixed on ports 1 through 8. Port 9 can be 10/100/1000 copper or
Gigabit SX or LX fiber. The FX ports can be SC single-mode (to 35 km) or
muti-mode (2 km) ST or SC. Triple speed products like this allow you to
leverage existing technology without investment
in software and personal training. Management
via console for VLANs, QOS, Trunking and a number of report functions. Gigabit
& Fast Ethernet was designed in order to ensure cost effective, simple
migration from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps to 1000 mbps maintaining the Ethernet
transmission protocol, Carrier Sense Multiple Access Collision Detection
(CSMA/CD). Triple speed products offer the
ability to leverage your existing network investment. |
