EtherCom’s EC205MM/SM 10BaseF multi-mode to 10BaseF single-mode

repeater/converter has been engineered to allow the network designer to add fiber single-mode segments of up to 15 Km.

 

The EC205MM/SM  repeater/converter, allows 10BaseF specifications to be used over combinations of single -mode and multi-mode fiber cable.

 

Designed to meet the needs of today’s network planers to intergrate multi-mode fiber  with the extended distances available through the use of single-mode fiber. The EC205 MM/SM is ideally suited for large

 

campus type installations. This converter complies with the 100BaseFX IEEE 802.3 standard for Ethernet.

 

A complement of eleven LEDs display power, jam, & activity for  the unit plus receive, colision, partition & link on each segment. The internal power supply accepts AC voltages from 70 to 250.
